If there isn't anybody nominated for ASS WHOOPING OF THE YEAR, this kid just got it!

Earlier today, a little kid from Fort Collins, Colorado managed to pull on the heart string of America. Falcon Heene, apart of the bad ass Heene Brothers of Fort Collins, Colorado, tricked his parents and about 1000 policemen and safety officials by unleashing a weather balloon used for tracking tornadoes and other phenomenons while escaping to the attic to hide from his father (who only one can hope was about to lay into his ass with a belt)! When he was found hours later, he was remorseful and sad that all the brave people of Colorado and the world were trying to find a kid who was just otherwise hiding. His father cried, tears were shed by the family, and the Henne Family began the process of building love again!

While that is all good, there are several things that still bug me about this.

1) HEENE FAMILY ARE REALITY TV STARS

Mind you, if you're a big Wife Swap fan, you might be aware that the Heene Family were on the show twice (2) times and both times, they were an awful family. Which leads to point 2

2) HEENE BROTHERS ARE BAD ASSES

If you thought that Falcon Henne was the only Brother to deal with, you're wrong! There are 3 brothers that constantly raises hell on a daily basis. And the sad thing, they had the ordacity to try to show the world they were tough on YouTube with videos of themselves posing like bad asses!

Well, I'm hitting back hard! You say that you're not pussies, Heene Bros. Let's put that to the test.

No, Nas! Hip Hop Died A Long Time Ago!

Back in the early 1980s, hip hop was new and fresh and explored a lot of things that had not, at the time, been explored before in urban culture! However, a lot of critics felt that hip hop would suffer the same fate that fell on its predecessor Disco: Extinction.

Yet, more than 30 years has passed since the Sugar Hill Gang released that hit song that started it all "Rapper's Delight"...

...and what do we have to show for it....

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm all for Austic Kids making a run at rapping, but this is seriously getting out of hand! Hip hop isn't the same as it was when it first began. Instead of having songs that got people dancing or reflecting on the struggles of inner city living, I gotta deal with a white kid from a gated community outside Toronto thinking that just listening to 3 Jay-Z albums makes him suited to be the world's next rapper!

Oddly enough, a legit white musical internet sensatiton, Jon Lajoie (by the way, go look up some of his stuff on YouTube, hilarious!) broke down what the future of hip hop might end up being! I just love the detail he puts into it!

But folks, it wasn't always like this. A long time ago, the music was great! Even when you take a quick look back at the 90s, you could almost start seeing Hip Hop going through an almost college lesbian experiment before it could find it's true voice! Also, we got a quick glimpse of Eazy E before the AIDS got 'em!

Is Hip Hop dead? Probably so, but it's great just to see others attempt to try to bring it back! And while they try, we'll keep on laughing at even the silliest thing a rapper tries to do!

Franchise Tag for September 18th, 2009

I don't have any children yet (thank God)! But if I did, I believe that the right thing in anything you do with your kids is to share your love of things that you love, in hopes that they might follow in your steps! Take for instance this father who catches his first foul ball and gives it to his cute little daughter! However, as you will find out, all good things don't go without consequences!

You have to love it in football when teams use the trick play to get the easy win! From last weeks game, check out when Georgia Tech's Special Teams unit tricks the hell out of the Clemson unit!

Now, in comparison, let's view this classic clip from a few years ago of the GREATEST QB KEEPER PLAY OF ALL TIMES!!

Franchise Tag for September 15th, 2009

Ever had a question that you needed to ask a crack hoe (haha, what couldn't you ask to a crack hoe)? This is a video for you to answer all your questions!

Maybe this is one of the best mash up you could ever sync together! Obama has already called Kanye a "jackass" off the record (but somehow got on them internets in some fashion)! But this could make a lot of sense why he would say that!

Whoever said that video games are a lot more violent than they were before never played a Duck Hunt/Contra mashup!

Kayne West showed the world that ignorance and awards make a good mix. However, this is not the first time it has happened! In the 1998 Grammy Awards, the Late (and Great) O.D.B. graced the stage and told everyone that when you get money and success, you gotta tell the world!

Kanye West Hates White People

You know, I once believed Kanye West a couple of years ago when, during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he made the (at the time) popular quote: "George Bush hates black people!"

Now, I just now realized that Mr. West just hates any and all white people who pisses him or anybody close to him (granted that they are not emotionally scared from losing in a almost meaningless award show).

The fact of the matter was, last night should have been a night for country music (that's right, a black man admits country music is good). 19 year old Taylor Swift finally broke the barriers between pop culture and country by winning best female video last night over front runner Beyonce! However, when Taylor began her speech that would ultimately open the doors to other country starlets to come over, Kanye West had the black moment shown round the world.

Listen, regardless if you like country music or not, you don't do what West do on stage. When the Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl a couple of years back, you didn't see Coach Belichick get on the podium and say, "I just want to say this year's Patriots was the greatest of all time!" If they were the greatest team of all time, they would have won that Super Bowl (which I really wanted them to because the damn Giants knocked the Packers out the Super Bowl).

Now, keep this in mind, most of the awards are decided upon by either industry leaders or viewers of music videos (wait, do music videos even exist?). The fact of the matter is, barring a huge up-swell of Taylor Swift fans who really wanted to piss Beyonce (oops, I mean Mr. West) off, the critics and fans decided who had the best female video of 2009, and they thought that Taylor Swift had a better video.

Now, let's not all feel bad for Beyonce, she did go on to win 3 awards later on, including Video of the Year (I'm surprised that Kayne didn't come back out to say "Love Lockdown" was the greatest video of all time which was also nominated).

BUT LET'S KEEP IT REAL.....

Kanye West is a gay fish who still believes that he's still somewhat in charge of everything in the world. He needs to get his head out of his butt and realize he is not the voice of my generation. To be honest, I probably would have voted for Taylor Swift over Beyonce mainly because of the song (everybody has heard the "if you like it then you should have put a ring on it" BS too many times. Also, Swift is the new hotness in music today!) That's not saying Beyonce didn't have a good video, but it's not that big of a deal!

Also, if anybody watches the clip in it's entirety, doesn't it look like Beyonce was giving Kayne "the look?" You know, the "there might be something more to this than just musical collaboration" look. Jay-Z, I know you just released your new CD (love The Blueprint 3, great deal on Amazon MP3), but you might want to check your wife and see if more than just her "Ego" is getting attention from Kayne.

Kanye, you can do better than this! I challenge you to make an album where you don't act like a douche or use Auto-tune in it! It'll probably be your worst selling CD of all time, but hey, at least you're trying to change!

Also, Kanye, you're a gay fish!

8 Years ago, while a senior at Richland Northeast High, I remembered being pulled out of Health class by my mom. She had a hectic look on her face. When I asked her about what was going on, she talked about how 2 buildings in New York collapsed to the ground due to plane crashing into them and another plane crash in Washington, and she didn't know where the next plane going to hit. For my mom, a strong woman, to say that shocked me to the core. When I got my grandmother's house, I saw everything on the TV. For a generation of teens who are used to computer generated violence and distruction in movies, speaking for myself, it was just more disturbing than anything else you could put on there. People actually falling down to their death just to escape the incoming destruction of the planes. Today, while watching the MSNBC re-broadcast of the horrific events of a day notability and forever ironically known as 9/11, I think it's important to know that being an American comes with a price. We have freedoms that most countries either want or despise. And to pay the price on a major scale like we did 8 years ago is one of the heaviest prices we have to pay for freedom. I say all this to remind all Americans that we should always stand together and find ways to find solutions to problems. Whether it may be finding universal health care for all or trying to create jobs for all people who need them, we, as Americans, need to stand together and help each other during the good times and bad times. I'm happy I live in a country where, even after a huge mess up with FEMA and President Bush, we can still come to Louisiana and help victims of Katrina with food, help, and shelter! We are Americans! We are the cockiest SOBs in the world! And we will never let the bad guys win! That being said, GOD BLESS AMERICA AND EVERYBODY ELSE!!!

Franchise Tag for September 10th, 2009

In action movies, the big fight scene is always the best scene of the movie. That being said, this first clip is the greatest fight scene ever! It's almost like the director went Balls to the Walls to make this a Kick Ass Scene. Hell, I don't even know why they threw in a wooden cross in the scene, but, they still make it work!

Sports-related violence is back, and it's happening in the most unlikely sport: Indoor Lacrosse! This fight shows the brutal nature of the sport. It's like ice hockey fighting, just without the ice or the gaining of confidence after the fight. And the odd thing is, they probably just started fighting because someone got nudged the wrong way! This is what tends to make me believe that Lacrosse is the most bitchy sport in the Sports Kingdom!

One more video for you! An oldie but a goodie!

Apparently, when it came to the Swine Flu, it's been around for a long time, almost since 1970s! I guess it cause such a commotion then that they had to make the creepiest commercial to get the word out. Watch these 2 commericals and tell me if they are over-hyping it more than we do today. Almost, the music they use are more diabolical than the Swine Flu itself! Creepy!

...and they said he would come out of South Carolina and f*ck it up for everybody!

Franchise's Tags for September 9th, 2009

Let's start this journey through the internet by looking at facing adversity through the eyes of a kid! And then during the course of this ride, see his face turn from normal to a Hobbit in less than 5 seconds!

This next video lets us reenact the Life Alert commerical! You know what I'm talking about...with the old woman fallen down and screaming for help! Now, let's replace the woman with a sweet puppy dog! Let the cuteness shine through!

Speaking of falling and can't get up, this bicycle race finishes as the leader makes a mad dash to the finish line, literally!

Courtesy of my favorite random site, EverythingIsTerrible.com, meet New Jack Swing! One hit wonders from the 90s who probably got paid by the NBA to talk about how good the NBA is! If only somebody could say the same for their music and their hair!

The History Tag follows one girl's attempt to get back on her boyfriend dumping her by singing a song and doing a dance with it! If only she could stick the landing! I know if I was the boyfriend she was singing to, I would have thought I made the right choice too!

And if you just need your falls replayed over and over again....

Too Much of a Good Thing is Still Good!

Autotuning is the running gag on any rap, pop, or rock song that never gets old. However, AutoTune the News always keeps the debates of the world fresh in our minds (also, it creates a new drinking game that involves players to drink when they hear "SHAWTY")!

In this latest edition, they actually get help from MTV Personality Alexa Chung to help Obama solve the health care debate! All i got to say "SHAWTY"! Damn you, T-Pain!!!

White Kid Dancing Like a Demon!

It's a mix of the Ally McBeal Dancing Computer Baby, bad parenting, and Urban culture wrapped up in one kid!

Also, if you're not up on the Ally McBeal Dancing Computer Baby:

The First Post Is Always the Hardest!

If you are a big fans of blogs (and let's face it, about 2 of you are), the most important blog to any blogger would be the first blog! Maybe it's because the first blog tells you who you are. If you're a conservative, right-wing nut, most of what you going to say would be along the lines of...

Obama's a socialist!

Abortion is murder!!

George W. Bush was the greatest president ever! (Sidenote: If you ever run into a blog that has this on there, please close your browser, shut down the computer, and walk away from the computer as quickly as possible! You might be exposed to the Dumbass Virus!)

If you're a die hard fan of all New York based teams and have a hard time dealing with reality, you might say...

A-Rod is the reason the Yanks are winning the World Series, baby!

The Knicks are better off without Starbury! (Which, in truth, they are!)

The New York Islanders are going to win the Stanley Cup this year! (Sidenote: If you ever run into a blog that has this on there, please close your browser, shut down the computer, and walk away from the computer as quickly as possible! You might be exposed to the Dumbass Virus!)

The fact of the matter is, let's face it, when people blog online, they are trying to make their opinions count for more than what it's probably worth! I'm here to tell you that my blog will probably be some of the same stuff that you're used to now!

However, mine will be funny (that's a lie)! It will also be poignant to the issue at hand (once again, I lie). Did I say I would post hot chicks on my blog (my nose has grown 3 inches longer at the end of this sentence)!

But I will be honest about one thing! IF I FIND SOMETHING ONLINE THAT IS EITHER
1) FUNNY AS HELL
2) DISTURBING AS HELL
3) PLAIN OUT WRONG
4) ALL THE ABOVE
...I'M PUTTING IT ON THE BOARD! (Unless it's a NSFW clip, then that stays on the hard drive. HEE HEE!)

Don't believe me...

(Don't worry, Cat! We'll find the real killers!)

So now, I'm in the blogging game folks! Fingers, don't fail me now!!!
